TPSC Retreat

Hi Everyone!

Please take note of the following dates:

14th May 2010 & 15th May 2010
From 1900 Hours on the 14th May till the afternoon of 15th May (Overnight Stay)

Its going to be a retreat, where the Old meets the New. What's going is happen is that it'll be work work work to prepare the New Committee for the upcoming Academic Year (AY) and review what have happened in the past AY, what can and should be improved, and the events that we can organise in the upcoming AY.

Food wise, we'll settle our own dinners on the 14th May, but bring $15 to $20 for Supper, and the following day's Breakfast and Lunch. Supper and Breakfast could be MacDonalds or something, Lunch, we'll just go out to buy back.

So prepare your sleeping bags, its gonna be 1 tough and long night! Probably cold too if we can get a special air-conditioned room to do all this in overnight!

So till further notice, this is it!

I've put up the link for download! Its the Team Temasek Day Powerpoint slides! Everyone, please download this slides and save it into your thumbdrives! Please bring that thumbdrive to school from Monday to Thursday! Everyone should have 1! Its only a 1mb file, so even the lousiest thumbdrive will work, even those probably 2 million years old thumbdrive will work!

Closure of SAR

Hi Everyone! Please be informed that the Student Activity Room aka SAR will be closed on the 26th March 2010 from 0830hrs to 1300hrs.

Please take note that the SAR (which if you still do not know is where the Sports Club room is) will be Out Of Bound to all students.

So, find another place to chillax if you have to! In the mean time, continue to enjoy your holidays. Last 2 events will be coming up soon!

Exam Time!

Hi Everyone! There's no activity for Sports Club for this coming few weeks till after your exams are over!

What to look out for then? Look out for Temasek League Series Season 3 and help out or cheer on your academic schools to bring home to Champion of TP title! It'll be in early to mid March! And those who plan to run for Main Committee, we'll be meeting you guys again! Prepare to do some work! Its time to taste the sweetness!

In the mean time, everyone! Please STUDY! We cannot stress enough to STUDY! See everyone soon!

Basketball IVP

Sorry for the overdue post and pixchas! Anyway, Basketball ivp match as a blast! We had a fun time cheering for our fellow TPBB team! And of course! They did us proud by claiming the championship back! (Tsk, with such Awesome supporters how could they not win?) TEEHEE.

OOH YES! Did i mention i found *black bear's (hei xiong from SP team) Facebook?! Tell me if you want it too! :D Awesome size man, really.

Okayyyy, enough of the inside joke! By the way, Seal points have been keyed in to all in the pixchas! (you can check your seal system through TP website!) and lastly...

TP NETBALL GIRLS IVP

Congrats to our very own TP netballers for attaining 1st runner up for IVP! We are the first Poly ever to get to the finals! Thanks to all those who came down to support! This is by far the most exciting netball match ever! The girls had a victorious head start at the beginning and was leading a few points for the first quarter! Even Jasmine Chye wished she could join in the game! Though we did not win in the end, it was a job well done to make it thus far. Keep up the good work girls! We believe you girls are capable to attain Champion the next time round! :D

SC Training

For all those who have been waiting for our training sessions! Its BACK!

We'll begin with our trainings again on the 21st January 2010 (Tentatively, we'll update here again)! Any suggestion of what other sports to do, please feel free to send us an e-mail. Sports such as Swimming, Ultimate Frisbee or even jogging or welcomed.

If most of you are also willing to come out a little money, we can also go in maybe smaller groups to play Pool or have a game or 2 of bowling at SAFRA Tampines. Just send us an e-mail of what you think.

2005 CSC President Offering T-Shirt Printing Services to Raise Funds for CCN Day‏

As you guys know, CCN Day is here again! This year, we'll be having our CCN Day on the 13th November 2009! And Guess what? Our 2005 CSC President, Lee Jia Seng (TP Alumnus) is returning to TP on CCN Day to raise funds by selling specially designed T-Shirts to the Perfect 10 Clubs!!

As a Sports Club club member, you get to purchase the shirt under Sports Club at the price of $10! However, if we manage to get more than 30 orders, the price will go at $9 per piece!
